It can be difficult for patients to understand exactly what their insurance coverage will be when seeking treatment for sleep apnea or orofacial pain. At the offices of Dr. Bassiur, DDS, we are an in-network provider for most major medical insurance carriers, as well as Medicare. In many cases, we are in-network for both PPO and HMO plans.
Once you receive a physician’s referral, we invite you to contact our office and inform us of your health insurance carrier, the type of plan you participate in, as well as any information you may have about coverage. After scheduling your appointment, we will ask for your medical insurance providers information, such as your policy number or account number. We take the time to answer any questions and help you determine what your benefits cover, as well as whether you’ll be responsible for any co-pays or deductibles.
